Last month HomeGrid Forum posted a blog discussing the fact that this year marked the first time HomeGrid Forum attended CommunicAsia.

Attending CommunicAsia provided an opportunity for me to explain how G.hn technology works, while highlighting the advantages of using it as a reliable backbone for smart home networking.

I represented HomeGrid Forum and spoke alongside Zowee Technologies on ‘G.hn: The next step in smart home networking’.

During my presentation, I highlighted a case study on ‘G.hn for 4KTV (Coax)’. This illustrated how a PON/Gateway connected to a G.hn Adaptor, can utilise a Coax Splitter to distribute a reliable and stable Wi-Fi signal around the home and use Coax to provide a network backbone.
